Camp Lejeune Water Contamination Lawsuit – Know Your Rights
Camp Lejeune is a Marine Corps Base in Jacksonville, North Carolina. From 1953 to 1987, Camp Lejeune’s tap water system was seriously contaminated. Base personnel and their families bathed in, and ingested tap water contaminated with dangerous chemicals at levels from 240-3400 times higher than allowed by applicable safety standards.
In 2009, the federal government began investigations into the water systems and the injuries reported by people affected by the Camp Lejeune water contamination. In 2014, the Centers for Disease Control found that the contaminated water significantly increased the risk of multiple diseases.
Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022

The Act provides that any person exposed to Camp Lejeune’s water for at least 30 days during the period of August 1, 1953, through December 31, 1987, may file a lawsuit seeking damages related to various illnesses.
