Tragedy Strikes Bolivar County: Two Children Killed in Deputy-Involved Crash
BOLIVAR COUNTY, Miss.– A devastating car wreck involving a Bolivar County Sheriff’s Deputy has claimed the lives of two children in Cleveland, Mississippi. According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the fatal accident occurred Tuesday morning on Yale Street when a 2019 Dodge pickup driven by Deputy Brionna Brown collided with a 1986 Toyota truck.
The two juveniles riding in the Toyota were tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Their names and ages have not yet been released. At the time of the collision, Deputy Brown was reportedly on duty. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently conducting an active investigation into the fatal crash.
