Darryl M. Gibbs

Darryl M. Gibbs is a founding partner of Chhabra, Gibbs & Gustavis, P.A. He is a trial lawyer for people hurt in 18-wheeler wrecks, catastrophic slip and fall cases, construction site injuries, car wrecks, and other serious injuries. He works from the firm’s Jackson office.

Darryl has handled injury claims throughout Mississippi and, pro hac vice, in other states. He has represented injured clients in settlements and at trial. In 2014, the Mississippi Association for Justice recognized him with its Trial of the Year Award.

Darryl is from Madison, Mississippi. He studied business administration at the University of Mississippi and earned his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law in 2000. He was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 2001 and to the Arkansas bar in 2023. He is also a partner in two sister firms: Chhabra Gibbs & Herrington PLLC, a national mass tort and class action firm, and Chhabra, Gibbs & Trehan, PLLC, an immigration firm.

At home in Madison, he has served on the boards of the Madison Ridgeland Youth Club and the Livingston Homeowners’ Association, has coached recreational youth sports as a volunteer, and has taken part in The Mississippi Bar’s Lawyer in Every Classroom program at Mannsdale Elementary.
