Giselle F. Rasberry

Giselle F. Rasberry is an associate attorney at Chhabra, Gibbs & Gustavis, P.A., where she advocates for injured workers in workers’ compensation claims and for individuals hurt in car wrecks, 18-wheeler crashes, and other accidents.

Since joining the firm in 2022, Giselle has represented hundreds of clients and secured millions of dollars in settlements and judgments. Her practice encompasses trial and appellate work, personal injury litigation, and workers’ compensation matters, including complex cases involving third-party claims. She approaches each case with resilience, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to protecting her clients’ rights and achieving favorable outcomes.

Before joining the firm, Giselle served as a law clerk to Senior Chancellor Vicki Barnes of the Ninth Judicial Chancery Court District, where she assisted in drafting memorandum opinions and judgments. She also gained early experience as an Equal Justice student fellow with North Mississippi Rural Legal Services, advocating for underrepresented clients.

A native of Greenville, Mississippi, Giselle graduated cum laude from Tougaloo College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration and was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2020, where she participated in several legal clinics as a student attorney and received the Excellence in Community Engagement Award for her advocacy.

Giselle was selected for The Mississippi Bar’s 2026–2027 Leadership Program and named to The National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 for 2025–2026. She is a member of the Magnolia Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar, the Mississippi Association for Justice, and the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association. Beyond her legal practice, Giselle is an active member of the Junior League of Jackson, where she supports youth literacy and participates in community service initiatives.
